
Scott Tachiki brings 18 years of business experience as an executive officer, consultant, attorney and CPA. Most recently, Scott was a management consultant advising businesses in strategic planning, business development and corporate finance. His previous experience includes Deloitte & Touche, where he specialized in the financial services industry and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and Howard, Rice, et al., where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Scott also served as VP of Business Development at LearningGate.com where he managed software development and successfully structured, negotiated and closed the sale of the company.
Scott serves on the board of the George Washington High School Basketball Foundation and coached high school basketball for 7 years.
Scott received a JD from the Boalt Hall School of Law at UC Berkeley and a BS in Business Administration, also at UC Berkeley.
Franco Cirelli joined the team following his tenure as CFO of Phacil, Inc. Prior to Phacil, Franco worked for Microsoft and the National Basketball Association. He is an adjunct faculty member at City College of San Francisco, where he teaches entrepreneurship courses and developed new business curriculum. In addition, Franco received his CPA license upon attaining the necessary experience with Deloitte & Touche where his clients included many entrepreneurial organizations and SEC registrants.
Franco is very active in the San Francisco community on issues of public education. He serves as a member of the Friends of the Children board, Junior Achievement advisory board and the San Francisco School Alliance.
Franco earned his BS degree from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
